Arizona Snowbowl Lift Tickets 2026/27: Everything You Need to Know
Are Arizona Snowbowl’s 2026/27 lift tickets available? Find where to buy, how dynamic pricing works, ways to save, and what kids need for a free Power Kids pass.
Yes, single-day lift tickets for Arizona Snowbowl’s 2026/27 winter season are on sale now. Choose your ski date and see its current price on the official Snowbowl ticket calendar.
Snowbowl is advertising tickets as low as $9 on select dates. That is a starting price, not a promise that every ski day will cost $9. I could not confirm the exact date this season’s tickets first went on sale, so the useful news is simple: you can buy them now.

Why buy Snowbowl lift tickets early?
Snowbowl uses dynamic pricing, which means ticket prices change with demand. A quiet weekday can cost much less than a holiday, a weekend or a day everyone suddenly wants after a snowstorm. If your schedule is flexible, compare a few dates before buying.
In January 2023, Snowbowl listed single-day tickets at $309 for a busy Saturday. That was an extreme price for a particular day, not what tickets always cost. It does show how far demand-based pricing can move.
Here are the practical ways to spend less:
Buy online and ahead of time. Start with the official calendar, where you can compare prices for your actual dates.
Look at weekdays and less busy dates if your trip allows it.
Compare passes if you plan to ski several days. A season pass may be a better value than buying each day separately. Some pass types also include discounted tickets to use yourself or share.
Get eligible kids their free Power Kids passes. Do this before your ski day rather than assuming free access will appear automatically when you buy an adult ticket.
Check the extras for your date. Snowbowl currently advertises $10 in Snowbowl Cash with online advance purchases and the option to add $10 rentals or lessons on select dates. Review the offer shown before checkout.
Do kids 12 and under really ski free?
Yes—with a free Power Kids season pass. Children who are 12 or younger when they register qualify, even if they turn 13 before winter. Snowbowl says there is no parent purchase requirement and no blackout date.
Register before heading to the mountain. For each child, have these ready:
A clear headshot for the pass registration.
Proof of the child’s date of birth. Accepted options in the current registration process include a birth certificate, photo identification, school ID or report card. If you use a school ID or report card, make sure the birth date is visible.
The free pass covers lift access. Rentals, equipment and lessons are separate expenses.
Where do I buy tickets, and what happens after checkout?
Buy single-day tickets through Snowbowl’s official winter ticket calendar. Select the day you plan to ski, then review the price and any available add-ons for that date. Register children separately for the Power Kids pass.
New for 2026/27, lift-ticket guests need a new reloadable Snowbowl Card. Snowbowl says you can pick it up at a ticket window, Guest Services or a pickup box at Hart Prairie Lodge or Agassiz Lodge. Give your group a little time for that first pickup.
Snowbowl’s winter opening is scheduled for November 20, 2026, but early-season operations depend on conditions. Check current mountain conditions before you drive up.
Make a Flagstaff trip of it
If you are traveling for more than one ski day, choose your base with the rest of the trip in mind. My Sedona versus Flagstaff guide helps you decide where to stay. For ideas away from the slopes, use The Actually Useful Guide to Flagstaff and my downtown Flagstaff walking guide.
You cannot book the perfect snow conditions in September. You can compare ticket dates, get the kids registered and avoid discovering the price of a busy Saturday at the ticket window.
