Accessibility Statement

Updated September 2, 2026

Not Lost Or Found is committed to making its website and free resources usable by people with disabilities. We aim to support the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as an ongoing standard for design and development.

What we are doing

The site uses semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-accessible controls, visible focus indicators, descriptive labels for forms, text alternatives for meaningful images, responsive layouts, readable text contrast, and status messages intended to work with assistive technology. New and revised pages are checked as part of the site build and review process.

Known limitations

Some content or services are provided by third parties, including Wix-hosted features, maps, park and agency websites, social networks, app stores, and downloadable files. Their accessibility is outside our direct control. Photography-heavy pages may also present challenges that are not fully solved by short text alternatives.

Need help or found a barrier?

If something is difficult to use, please send the page address and a description of the problem through the contact page. If the contact form itself is the barrier, include that fact when contacting Shannon through another linked Not Lost Or Found channel. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the information in another format and improve the affected experience.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time certification. The site will continue to be reviewed as content, tools, platforms, and standards change.

NOT LOST OR FOUND

For the curious, the trailblazers, and the adventurously off-map.
